Blue Roof Productions, established in 2001, is an independent media company dedicated to development, production and marketing of children's picture books and, later, animation movies in Dutch, English, Chinese and Sranan Tongo (Surinam language), presently based on the "Woebie" character, developed in house.
Since 2007, Blue Roof Productions is the publisher of two "nijntje" booklets in the Surinam language, with a license of Mercis Publishing bv. Translated by Carry-Ann Tjong-Ayong.

Member of Vereniging van Zelfstandige Uitgevers (VZU).
